Use of well tracers in different completions

Throughout 2024, Completion Tracer will install Inflow Tracers in several completion types.

These different completion types comprise of:

  • A field with cemented liners, installed with carriers containing our tracer rods,

  • A field using open-hole screens combined with tracer rods,

  • A field using slotted liners

All these different completion types can benefit from tracers by using tailor-made carriers and adapted tracer rod geometry. Additionally, our innovative and patented FlowTrace technology will be installed during 2024, providing robust flow rate data at given depths.

Completion type and other hardware requirements are always the basis for tracer design. This, combined with the reservoir temperature, production rate and necessary monitoring life-time, drive the engineering design choices for our custom tracer rods.
