Completion Tracer Awarded Askeladd Contract

In June 2023, Completion Tracer installed inflow tracers on the Åsgard field (Blåbjørn). This was the first delivery of our inflow tracers to Equinor. Based on this successful installation, Completion Tracer has been awarded a new contract from Equinor.

Chemical tracers will be placed within several production wells at the Askeladd Vest field and flow along 150 kilometers of pipeline, to Equinor’s LNG facility in Hammerfest.

Samples will be sent for analysis at Completion Tracers laboratory in Medkila. The results will contribute to the optimization of wells and production, with the goal of improved utilization and sustainable development of gas resources in this field.

The CEO of Completion Tracer, Ole Magnar Drønen, is delighted to see that the company’s new product is being sought after. This provides a basis for further investment and increasing staffing.
